Day 32: Sydney Festival

Today we decided to walk from our offices in the CBD to Hyde Park to see some of the Sydney Festival grounds and events.

On the way we stopped at the QVB, Queen Victoria Building, to shop and look around. What a beautiful building!

The Festival had so many weird quirky things: A virtual reality haunted Ghost train ride, karaoke carousel, shipping container pools, men’s burlesque cabaret and a lot more. We were pleasantly surprised to see so many “alternative” style things.

On the way home we stopped at a neighborhood restaurant a few blocks from our hotel and had a lovely dinner with the locals.

The houses in Sydney are adorable.

I finally sat down and saw all of the postings! What an amazing journey you are having. By your descriptions and pictures it feels like I am right there with you. Uncles Joe and Mark take over dog duties Sat. so we can go North. Love to you both. Gail.
