Today, we decided to take a couple of hours in the morning to see the city during the day and work a bit later instead.
We started the day with breakfast at Gail’s Bakery, just a few blocks from our Airbnb in Marylebone. Cute neighborhood full of shops, bakeries and coffee shops.
Afterwards, we made our way to the train station through Hyde Park. And of course, had to stop to take pictures of squirrels, swans, ducks and pigeons:
After work, we wanted to check out King’s Cross station:
We found a nice Indian restaurant online we wanted to try and it was around that area. By the time we got to the restaurant, the was a queue (what we call line) for 2 hours to be seated. Nevermind.
We decided to walk around Granary Square and find another place to eat. As you can tell, some people aren’t afraid of the cold weather and it doesn’t stop them from dining outside.
