Today we had another beautiful day driving from Queenstown to Lake Tekapo to spend a few days with Sandra’s cousin Natalie and her family. We got up early so we could enjoy breakfast in Queenstown before we hit the road.

Along the way we Natalie suggested we stop in Arrowtown, an old gold mining town, and the Chard Farm Vineyard to taste some local wine and see the incredible views.

This country is so freaking beautiful.

Yay! We finally arrived at their stunning log cabin home to see Natalie and Matt.. The kiddos were sleeping, so we’ll have to wait til morning to squeeze them. We talked and talked and finally crashed.

We’re so happy to be with family for a few days to relax and fill our tanks with giggles and cuddles.
